We are glad to introduce you to Denis and Mariana Stolzhenko, a couple whose hearts and gifts are deeply invested in ministry and who serve faithfully as part of the Gospel Today team.
The Stolzhenko Family
Denis and Mariana were both born in Ukraine and have spent the past several years living in Odesa, where they have been actively involved in church life and ministry. Gospel Today has become a significant part of their lives, shaping both their service and their vision for sharing the gospel.
Denis’s Ministry
Denis is currently studying at seminary and has a strong desire to serve as a pastor in the future. Alongside his studies, he serves in several key areas:
- Member of the national Baptist youth ministry team, serving together with Mariana
- Active involvement in local church ministry
- Responsibility for Gospel Today’s website and social media in the IT sphere
Through Gospel Today, Denis has grown in his understanding of how to clearly and effectively share the gospel with others, especially through digital platforms such as Instagram and other social media tools.
Mariana’s Ministry
Mariana serves faithfully alongside Denis in both church and ministry work. She has completed a master’s degree in speech therapy and uses her training to work with children when needed. She also helps support the church practically, ensuring that ministry spaces are welcoming and well cared for.
A Shared Vision
Denis recalls meeting Caleb about five years ago—a meeting that left a lasting impression. While many Ukrainians dream of moving to the United States, Denis was struck by Caleb’s desire to serve in Ukraine and his genuine love for the country and its people. That shared heart for Ukraine and the gospel has grown into an ongoing partnership through Gospel Today.
The Stolzhenkos are grateful for the encouragement, prayers, and support they have received through this ministry. They remain committed to using every opportunity—especially through digital outreach—to share the good news of Christ.
