We are thankful to introduce you to Dasha Bekh, whose life and ministry reflect perseverance, compassion, and a deep commitment to sharing the hope of Christ with students across Ukraine.
A Journey Marked by Loss and Faith
Dasha was born and raised in the south of Ukraine, on the left bank of the Kherson region, an area that was occupied on the very first day of the war. Because of the conflict, she and her family became internally displaced.

During the pandemic, Dasha’s mother passed away—a painful loss for their family. Yet, she is grateful that she was able to evacuate her father and two brothers to safety. Her younger brother was deeply affected by constant shelling and fires, and the strain on his nervous system made it clear that the family needed to relocate. Today, they live in Ivano-Frankivsk, in western Ukraine.
Coming to Christ
Dasha came to faith in Christ in the 10th grade after being invited to church by a classmate. Behind this moment was the faithful prayer of her grandmother, who had once been a Communist Party activist but later repented and began praying for her family. For more than 12 years, she prayed—and God answered. Dasha describes this as a turning point that radically transformed her entire family.
A Heart for Student Ministry
During her university years, Dasha developed a deep love for friendship evangelism, intentionally sharing Christ with her classmates. This passion led her to serve with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES) in Ukraine, where she ministered for more than 10 years.
Through this work, Dasha:
- Trained and equipped student leaders
- Helped students grow in evangelism
- Shared the gospel on university campuses through English-speaking activities
- Organized five English clubs at key universities across Ukraine
- Helped lead more than 15 language camps

Her ministry consistently combined practical outreach with intentional discipleship.
Serving With Gospel Today
Dasha is excited to now serve with the Gospel Today mission alongside Caleb and Christina Suko, focusing on student ministry. She sees this work as a great blessing—both to share the gospel in Ukrainian universities and to help build fellowship and support for international students.
Dasha firmly believes that students are the future leaders of Ukraine and the world, and that in these painful times of war, they especially need to hear the message of Christ’s hope and love.
We are grateful for Dasha’s faithfulness and for the privilege of serving together as the gospel continues to reach hearts and campuses across Ukraine.
