As part of our Hope for 1000 Ukrainians project, Bible study groups continue to grow and bring the light of God’s Word to communities across Ukraine and beyond.
Recently, we held our first online meeting with about 20 Bible study leaders from across Ukraine. Each leader shared how they are using The Story of Hope Bible study with their students. It was encouraging to hear that around 70% of the students are unbelievers, many of whom are engaging with the gospel for the very first time.
A new group has just launched on the outskirts of Mykolaiv, led by Brother Dmitro. Already, about 15 students are attending faithfully. This is just one example of how the Lord is opening new doors for the gospel.
Looking ahead, we are preparing to print an updated, illustrated version of The Story of Hope in both Ukrainian and Russian. These resources will not only serve Bible study groups inside Ukraine but will also be distributed to Ukrainian refugees in Europe, helping them find hope and encouragement in God’s Word.
In addition, on September 27–28 we will take part in a pastors’ retreat for Russian-speaking pastors from the Baltic countries. At this event, we will present our Bible study course and explore opportunities to expand its use even further.
We are deeply grateful for your prayers and support. Each Bible study group, each new believer, and each testimony of hope is evidence that God is at work through this project. Together, we are seeing the vision of Hope for 1000 Ukrainians become reality—one group at a time.
